When we woke up Gen started doing some more work, while Sami chilled (literally) in the pool.
Sami managed to convince Gen to put her work aside, and we borrowed two canoes from the lodge and we paddled down the Umtavuna river canyon. We shored at the leopard beach where Gen watched the fish and Sami swam in the river. The excursion took several hours and was a really nice trip, with just the two of us on the river in the gorge.
We had a yummy home cooked dinner at the lodge, with the company of the owners and another guest.
