It was still a very rainy depressing day in St Lucia today. We bumped into Mirella in the reception and went for breakfast together at the Purple Hippo café.
We spent almost the entire day online trying to prepare the final pieces of Sami's lease transfer in Montreal, but the bonus was that he had a chance to catch up with some of his friends at SF Marketing via Skype (hey Erik and Kristina!).
We hung out at Illy café for lunch, and then Baboushka for drinks later on, where a kitten found a home on Sami's lap while monkeys ran around on the street. We wanted to go to the river, but decided against it for fear of bumping into aggressive hippos in the dark! Apparently it is quite common for them to freely roam the streets of St-Lucia at night.
We enjoyed a yummy free dinner at the bib's lodge and then hung out on the couches talking to the other backpackers. Also enjoyed a couple rounds of pool and foozball.
